Right-size the route
Low volume does not mean low importance. It means the manufacturing route should reflect uncertainty, launch timing and the cost of future change.
Machined or printed prototypes are useful for early checks, but they may not reproduce the behavior, surface or economics of an injection-molded part. Low-volume injection molding provides parts in the intended resin while allowing teams to validate assembly, appearance, field use and customer response.
Cemal reviews the expected quantity, part complexity, resin, tolerance, appearance and likelihood of design changes before recommending a tooling and production approach. The goal is to avoid both under-building a tool that cannot support the plan and over-investing before demand is proven.
