Matching a project
What determines the right equipment route.
Part size, projected area, material, geometry, tolerance, appearance, tool construction and volume all influence equipment selection. A larger clamping-force number alone does not establish process suitability. The engineering team reviews the complete requirement before confirming the manufacturing route.
For inspection, identify critical-to-function and critical-to-appearance characteristics. This allows the measurement approach and reporting level to be planned around buyer risk instead of applying the same inspection effort to every feature.
